Veteran’s Day Celebration

Each year IAIS honors local Native American who have served in the United States Military. Join us in honoring and remembering all veterans, Native and non-Native, who have served our country with courage and pride. Throughout history, Native Americans have served their country with the highest record of service per capita when compared to the general American population and to any other ethnic group.  Following a traditional ceremony in our outdoor village, participants and visitors are invited to a light lunch in our Research and Collections Building.
