Karen Silk of the Washington Environmental Council will join us to talk about what WEC does to help the community be environmentally conscious. Karen will be sharing the organization’s work and will read a book on how everyone can do their part in helping the environment. Miss Abigail will lead a craft activity relating to the story. Call to request a kit for curbside pickup! WEC is an advocate that provides leadership in maintaining, protecting and enhancing the environmental quality of the Town of Washington and the surrounding region. WEC works actively to develop and support a variety of programs to help educate citizens on the environment and what they can do to help protect it.
