Jim Keller
What would you get if John Lee Hooker quarantined with Kraftwerk? Possibly Jim Keller’s mix of industrial blues and menace. Keller is known as a member of Bay Area band Tommy Tutone, co-writing and performing the 80’s power-pop classic “867-5309” (“Jenny Jenny”). After Tommy Tutone’s success, Keller came to New York to direct Dunvagen Music, Philip Glass’s publishing company. Since 2009, Keller has released four solo albums including his latest for 2021 By No Means, and headlined residencies at legendary NYC venues Lakeside Lounge and Rockwood Music Hall, known and beloved for earnest energy and epic singalongs.
Saints & Liars
Saints & Liars is a four-piece Americana group from Southern Vermont, blending their own variants of honky tonk, folk, bluegrass, and rock n roll. They’ve become known as “Vermont’s roadhouse roots band”, having thrived in such venues throughout New England since 2012. Members include, Jed Hughes (guitars, lead vocals), Mike Farkas (guitars, vocals), Chris Rogers (bass), and Nolan Rolnick (drums). Wildly fun and refreshingly raw, Saints & Liars aim to entertain. Dance. Stomp. Sing along.
Gretchen Meyer & Charles Meyer
Gretchen Meyer and Charles Meyer are New York-based musicians. Gretchen is a vocalist and pre-school teacher, while Charles is a singer, songwriter, and producer. Drawing from influences such as Joni Mitchell, Ingrid Michaelson, and Norah Jones, this brother-sister pair finds rhythm across a range of perspectives. Charles has launched a solo career as Charles on TV, recently releasing three singles and currently working on an EP releasing later this summer.
SHAG Market
Enjoy a curated selection of regional doers and makers at the first-annual SHAG Market.
