Dive into the benefits of conserving your land in this engaging seminar. Tailored for private landowners interested in preserving their property or who own conserved (easement) land, the session will shed light on the advantages of protecting your property’s conservation values, outline the processes for property donations, purchases, and conservation easement conveyances, and highlight land trust responsibilities in preserving your land. The presentation will include landowner testimonials and offer a question-and-answer period at the end. About the Speaker: Rory Larson serves as Director of Conservation for Steep Rock Association (SRA). He has studied and stewarded SRA properties for over a decade, and more recently, facilitated strategies and projects that preserve ecologically and agriculturally significant areas in the Washington landscape.
