WMS Presents An Evening with Patti LuPone

Washington Montessori School is thrilled to welcome to its stage Broadway legend, Tony and Grammy Award winner (and former WMS parent), Patti LuPone, Monday, April 16 at 7 p.m. Guests will enjoy an intimate concert, followed by a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception.
Currently on tour with her new show “Don’t Monkey With Broadway,” Ms. LuPone has added this special WMS performance to her calendar. She will be accompanied by Joseph Thalken, an award-winning composer, pianist and musical director. “Don’t Monkey with Broadway” is a concert of indelible interpretations of classic Broadway show tunes, exploring how Ms. LuPone’s life-long love affair with Broadway began, and her concern for what the Great White Way is becoming today.
