The Mount Bushnell State Park is located near Lake Waramaug in New Preston. It extends 214 acres and offers some of the best hiking trails in Connecticut. Visitors interested in enjoying Connecticut’s fall foliage should make it a point to visit Mount Bushnell as the views along the trails are quite colorful and superb. Please note that the trail is not marked and trail maps are not available.
