WAA Sculpture Walk 2018

Summer 2018 is shaping up to be a busy one in Washington, CT. In addition to town-wide festivals, farmers markets, outdoor movies, and musical concerts, the Washington Art Association is planning one of their biggest exhibitions of the year. Beginning in July, WAA’s Sculpture Walk will bring 50 beautiful sculptures to Washington Depot. This public art exhibition will feature over 40 internationally recognized artists, emergent sculptors, as well as participating local talents. The sculptures are to be placed in different points throughout the Depot as Washington’s landscape and natural surroundings are what will give this exhibit cohesiveness and a distinct narrative. Also, a variety of materials and techniques will be on display as these sculptures will represent different images and figures.
