The Connecticut Theater Exchange will be performing "Dear Elizabeth" by Sarah Ruhl at The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens on Saturday, February 1 at 6 pm and Sunday, February
The Connecticut Theater Exchange will be performing “Dear Elizabeth” by Sarah Ruhl at The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens on Saturday, February 1 at 6 pm and Sunday, February 2 at 3 pm. From 1947 to 1977, poets Robert Lowell and Elizabeth Bishop exchanged more than four hundred letters. Even as they were worlds apart, their connection was palpable, and their correspondence would become one of the greatest in American literary history.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required due to limited seating.

80-minute reading with no intermission
Recommended for ages 15+ (adult themes, minimal strong language)
Directed by Kimiye Corwin featuring married actors Kathleen McElfresh and Campbell Scott
