Shop at the Shepaug Agriscience’s Spring Plant Sale for all of your spring planting and Mother’s Day needs! Shepaug FFA students have been growing a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowering hanging baskets in their state-of-the-art greenhouse. Students will also be selling welded projects, flower arrangements, and their much-anticipated honey. Shepaug FFA students use the money raised to help their chapter attend the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, attend leaderships conferences in the state, and supports their annual banquet. We hope to see you at the Shepaug Garden Center on the May 10th!

Join us for an amazing community celebration and fundraiser in support of the environment! Get ready to groove to the beats and dance the night away with friends and fellow environmental stewards. There will be live music by The New Desperation, drinks, tasty treats, a silent auction and more. All proceeds will go to WEC scholarships and environmental programs.

Greenwoods Counseling & Referrals will be hosting a “It’s Boogaloo on Bee Brook” cocktail party celebrating their remarkable work on Saturday, May 17th from 6:00pm – 8:30pm at Spring Hill Vineyards. Come prepared to eat, drink, dance & celebrate! This special benefit event will feature Raw Bar by To the Gills and Cheese, Charcuterie by New Curds on the Block, and will commence with soft jazz and ramp up to dance music of the ages by Hush Nosferatu, produced by Marc Wager of Roxbury Station Studios.
Greenwoods’ annual benefit is a critical source of funding for the comprehensive mental healthcare that we provide to our community. This year, the Jane L. Havemeyer Award will be presented to Julie Scharnberg of Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation.

Shepaug Parents, Friends, & FFA Alumni is hosting its 3rd Annual Farm-to-Table Celebration & Silent Auction! We will be serving light and hearty hors d’oeuvres made with locally sourced ingredients. Our chef will be guiding our Shepaug FFA students in preparing the delicious food for the evening. The Mobile Pub will be onsite to provide you with a complimentary drink included with your ticket purchase. The silent auction features items and services generously donated from local businesses.
We’re excited to showcase our Shepaug FFA students as well as our organization! All proceeds from this event help us achieve our mission in supporting the Shepaug Agriscience program.

The Washington Lions Club will hold its annual Memorial Day lobster sale on Saturday, May 24th, from 9am to 1pm at the Washington Primary School Pavilion located at 11 School
The Washington Lions Club will hold its annual Memorial Day lobster sale on Saturday, May 24th, from 9am to 1pm at the Washington Primary School Pavilion located at 11 School Street, Washington, CT.
Cooked and uncooked lobsters from 1¼-pounds and larger will be available. Pre-order by leaving a message at (860) 499-0783 with your name, phone number, and the amount and size of lobsters requested. Pre-orders may be made no later than 5 p.m. on May 22nd. All pre-ordered lobsters must be picked up before noon on the day of the sale. Payment is made at pick-up. Cash and check are preferred, but credit cards are also accepted.
The Lobster Sale coincides with the Field of Flags celebration, also hosted by the Lions Club. For a $5 donation, anyone may honor a veteran or member of the military by emailing [email protected] with the name of the member and the branch of service in which they served. Donations may be mailed to PO Box 1261, Washington, CT, 06793.
Proceeds from the Field of Flags and the lobster sale support several Lions Club initiatives, including the Washington Ambulance Association, scholarships for graduating high school seniors, and donations to other projects that benefit the town.

Save the date for Pilobolus’s Annual Ball on June 7th, 2025, which supports new works, education programs, and performances in the year ahead by attending our most important fundraiser of the year!
On June 7, 2025, our evening will begin with a sun-kissed cocktail reception followed by an outdoor stage performance with casual lawn seating for the audience. As the sun sets, we’ll enjoy dinner under a glittering tent and a joy-filled dance party featuring the Pilobolus artists. The event address will be provided upon registration.
The Ball is our most important fundraiser each year, and your ticket purchase will help support our new works, education programs, and performances in the year ahead.
